The label is read at arm's length in bad light by someone holding a basket. It gets one job: say the name, say it warmly, get out of the way.

Rule of the house

Two faces. Three sizes. No exceptions.

03 The principle · why ink comes first

Every brand is a print run.

I spent my first three years in a risograph studio in Peckham, pulling misregistered posters at two in the morning. That is where the rule comes from: if an identity does not work as one color on rough paper, it does not work.

So I design backwards. Ink first, pixels second. The mark is drawn to survive a rubber stamp, a tote bag, a 16 pixel favicon. Then, and only then, it earns a screen.

Eight years freelance. Forty two identities shipped. Zero templates.

What I press

A

Identity systems

Mark, wordmark, palette, type, voice, motion. The whole press kit, drawn from your story, tested at stamp size before screen size.

6 weeks · from 4,800

B

Packaging + labels

Coffee bags, sauce jars, natural wine, chocolate bars. Label systems that hold a shelf like a poster wall holds a street.

4 weeks · from 3,200

C

Editorial + print

Menus, zines, lookbooks, poster runs. Real paper, real ink, real deadlines at the printer.

2 weeks · from 1,600

05 Client work · pulled from the drying rack

06 The suite · studio collateral + shelf concepts

How it ships

Six vessels, one press. The studio's own collateral above the rule, client shelf concepts below it: the true mark pressed onto every one.

Indigo poster mailer tube with cream band
01 The print tube. Poster runs ship rolled, sealed with the stamp.
Letterpress business card stacks in ink and paper
02 The card. Cotton paper, ink edge, one debossed circle.
Indigo portfolio folder with vermilion seal
03 The folder. Every identity hands over in a case worth keeping.
Matte indigo coffee bag with kraft label band
04 The coffee bag. A kraft band on ink, stamped, never printed edge to edge.
Hot sauce jar with cream label, indigo lid and vermilion sauce
05 The sauce jar. Cream label, ink lid, the shout lives inside the glass.
Cotton canvas tote in cream and indigo hanging on a wall
06 The market tote. Hand stamped on the cream panel, one color, as the rule demands.

07 The ask · one line, one press
